چکیده
A pixelated silicon detector, developed originally for particle physics experiments, was used a beam profile measurement of cobalt-60 (Co-60) irradiator in water phantom. The compared to measured with pinpoint ionization chamber. differences the pixel detector and chamber relative profiles were within approximately 2% maximum, after calculating correction factors Monte Carlo simulations maximum difference decreased 1% maximum. detector’s capability measure pulse-height record an electron spectrum Co-60 beam, results agreed well simulations.

متن کاملRadiation Damage Studies for the DØ Silicon Detector ?
We report on irradiation studies performed on spare production silicon detector modules for the current DØ silicon detector. The lifetime expectations due to radiation damage effects of the existing silicon detector are reviewed. A new upgrade project was started with the goal of a complete replacement of the existing silicon detector. In that context, several investigations on the radiation ha...

Results on the characterization of the elecmcal properties of amorphous silicon-films for the three different growth methods, RF sputtering, PECVD, and LPCVD are reported. The performance of these a-Si films as heterojunctions on high resistivity p-type and n-type crystalline silicon is examined by measuring the noise, leakage current and the alpha particle response of 5 mm diameter detector st...
متن کاملOptical Radiation Measurements Based on Detector Standards
A near-IR radiometer standard with similar performance to silicon trap-detectors has been developed to calibrate detectors and radiometers for absolute spectral power, irradiance, and radiance responsivities between 950 nm and 1650 nm. The new radiometer standard is utilized at the Spectral Irradiance and Radiance Responsivity Calibrations using Uniform Sources (SIRCUS) which is the reference c...
